The chapter may not have downloaded completely. Downloading the book again should correct the problem!

To download the audiobook:

1. Open the BookFunnel app and tap Library.
2.  Tap-and-hold the book cover and tap Remove from Device.
3. Tap Download again and watch the progress bar as it downloads the audiobook. This may take a few minutes for a long book.
4. When it is finished downloading, tap Start Listening or Continue Listening.

You can use the Chapter list to jump ahead to the correct place in the book if necessary.

Disable battery optimization for the BookFunnel app so that your audiobook can continue playing in the background without issue.

Samsung

Depending on the Samsung model, open your phone’s settings and follow these steps:

1. Tap Applications or Apps
2. Tap the three-dot menu (top right corner)
3. Tap Special Access
4. Tap Optimize Battery usage

OR

1. Tap Device maintenance
2. Tap Battery
3. Tap Battery Usage
4. Tap the three-dot menu (top right corner)
5. Tap Optimize Battery usage
6. Tap Apps not optimized
7. Tap All apps and search for “BookFunnel”
8. Tap BookFunnel
9. Tap Don’t Optimize.

Google Pixel

1. Open your phone’s Settings
2. Tap on Apps & notifications
3. Tap on Advanced
4. Tap on Special app access
5. Tap on Battery optimization
6. Tap Apps not optimized
7. Tap All apps and search for “BookFunnel”
8. Tap BookFunnel and then tap Don’t Optimize.

Sony

1. Open your phone’s Settings
2. Tap Battery
3. Tap on the (…) menu in the top right corner
4. Tap Battery optimization
5. Tap Apps
6. Tap BookFunnel

LG

1. Open your smartphone’s Settings
2. Tap Battery & power saving
3. Tap Battery usage
4. Tap Ignore optimizations
5. Turn on ignore battery optimization for the BookFunnel app

Motorola

1. Open your phone’s Settings
2. Tap Battery
3. Tap on the menu in the top right corner
4. Tap Battery optimization
5. Tap Not optimized
6. Tap All Apps
7. Find BookFunnel on this list and tap Don’t Optimize
8. Go back to your phone settings
9. Select Battery
10. Turn Battery Saver Mode off

When your Motorola reaches a low level of battery, the battery saver mode automatically starts and ignores these battery optimization settings. Steps 8, 9, and 10 will keep your audiobook playing well on low battery as well.
